Cresskill resident Beth Orliss spends a sunny afternoon at the annual Hambletonian Festival at the Meadowlands Race Track with eight-year-old Bronx resident Shamari Norris, a hearing impairing child whom she is mentoring. The two feed some hay to Sonny, a 10-year-old Clydesdale from Willow Grove Farms in Long Valley.
