Christmas tree ligthing in Fort Lee

The Christmas tree at the Jack Alter Community Center was lighted on Thursday, Dec. 9, as the band played and children were given candy canes by Santa Claus.  Santa arrived by Fort Lee Fire truck after there were reports that he got stuck on the George Washington Bridge.  The band played lively Christmas music including “Christmas in Killarney.”
